EVentilator is an “automatic bag-valve breathing assistance device” (to relieve medical professionals of prolonged manual bag squeezing) designed by Anthony Hartman (11yrs old at the time) incorporating the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotics bricks/motors. It can be programmed to consistently provide air at the needed speed/volume – a simple, effective way to help patients with respiratory challenges and less critical patients in treatment for COVID-19, when ventilators are not available.
